Job Description

We have an opening for a College Admissions Coordinator to join our growing team! Our Admissions team plays a pivotal role in attracting and nurturing prospective students. The Coordinator ensures the efficient and accurate processing of student applications, manages student information and documentation, and assists with various tasks related to student onboarding and pre-arrival preparations

Schedule:

There is schedule flexibility for a standard 8-hour shift between the hours of Mon-Fri 8am-6pm EST

Pay:

The starting pay ranges between $22-24/hr based on experience

Hybrid Flexibility:

4 days in-office and 1 day remote

Day in the Life:

  • Receive and review applications for completeness and accuracy
  • Process application materials, including transcripts, test scores, and letters of recommendation
  • Enter and maintain student data in the CRM and student information systems
  • Track application progress and follow up with applicants on missing documents or information
  • Manage the flow of documents between applicants, EAs, and other departments
  • Assist accepted students with pre-arrival preparations, including securing flights, visas, and accommodations
  • Provide information and guidance on pre-enrollment requirements, such as immunization records and background checks
  • Respond to inquiries from applicants and prospective students via phone and email
  • Provide timely and accurate information about the application and enrollment process
  • Escalate complex issues or concerns to the EA or Pod Supervisor
  • Interact directly with prospects/applicants only when requested by the EA and in their presence

Keys to Success:

  • Bachelors Degree Preferred
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and student information systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service
